Sam took a break from work in the middle of last year but he’s back for 2017 and raring to go.
Contact Sam for more details or call 0191 398 0000 to book an appointment today.
Sam originally trained as a musician, and his background as a teacher of Taiqi and Qigong, along with his own experience of the benefits of acupuncture treatment led him to study at the Northern College of Acupuncture in York from where he qualified in 2001.
Since qualifying as an acupuncturist, Sam has been in practice in Durham and Newcastle and has treated a wide variety of conditions from acute musculo-skeletal problems, such as back and neck pain, to long-term chronic conditions, with a particular interest in the effects of long-term stress and emotional issues on people’s health.
In addition to his private practice, Sam has been contracted to the NHS in Durham treating patients referred by their GP, and also as part of a multi-disciplinary team working for University Hospital Durham’s pain management clinic.
Outside of acupuncture, Sam remains an active musician and vocal teacher but seems to spend most of his free time on the beach with his Labrador!
