For 10 years I have talked about starting-up an Integrative Health Centre which incorporates an unprecedented service to clients in the North as well as becoming a centre of excellence for training and academic achievement for practitioners and adult learners across the region. A place to address human issues that affect the mind, body and life. A venue to talk amongst colleagues, share experiences, knowledge and skills all in a place to be proud of. Most importantly to become a 'centre exemplar' which meets all the criteria for local economic development, access, service provision and local demand for an expanded health service.
We all have skills that are needed in the North. We also all know what it means to work in this field, especially as a business. As a company we are keen to help local therapists and practitioners become part of a working and effective team who will provide an immense range of treatments and options for the customer that will run alongside the allopathic provision from the NHS. Clearly there will be high standards and professionality in place without losing the human touch and a supportive approach that is the hallmark of our field.
