What we offer
We have one large room (6 x 8 metres) on the ground floor with disabled access, and another room (8.5 x 5.5 metres) on the first floor which can be divided into two with their own individual entrances. Unfortunately, the first floor room is not suitable for disabled access at the present time.
Our modern facilities include comfortable seating, folding tables, projector and screen, flip chart/white board easel, wireless internet access (terms and conditions apply) and refreshment facilities. Electric points are available for you to plug in any other equipment you bring with you.
We also offer a welcoming and efficient reception service for your clients and guests, with a naturally light, open and spacious waiting area.
Durham Meeting Room Hire Rates
£10 per hour or £80 per day.
- Ground floor room accomodates approx. 35 people
- First floor room accomodates approx. 30 people
We are wheelchair friendly: Access to the front of the building is via a ramp from street level, our doorways and corridors are wide and there is a disabled toilet on the ground floor.
On Site Car Parking: We have very limited car parking on site and recommend using the free public car parks just a few yards from us. We do have 1 car parking space on-site which is reserved specifically for disabled drivers and if this is required then please let us know in advance.
On Site Bike Parking: Motorbikes and cycles can be chained to the special metal structure we have installed at the rear of the building, out of view from the main street.
For your safety and the security of your vehicles, the parking area is monitored by 24 hour infra-red CCTV cameras. We must stress however that all vehicles are parked at the owners risk.
Off Site Parking: There are 2 small (free) public car parks on either side of Front Street just 250 yards from us. There is also free on-street parking on many of the streets surrounding us.
