Personal Profile

I grew up in Co. Durham, and began my working life in the field of mental health, later training at the Northern Guild for Psychotherapy in Newcastle. My work is divided between the NHS in Newcastle and my private practice at the Northern Integrative Health Practice in Co. Durham. While I have a strong interest in different therapy approaches, I do not use jargon and clients do not need any previous experience or knowledge of therapy to benefit. Everyone’s experience is unique, and I see my role as guiding people to look closely at their experiences, beliefs, thoughts and feelings in order to develop better ways of responding within themselves and in their relationships.
