Health for YOU!

By Paula Esson l Clinical Director l The Bowen Techique

Are you aware of the changes in funding structure for the NHS?  In the near future GP consortias will be responsible for commissioning (providing) funds for your local health services.  Key area of focus are:-

1) Enhancing quality of life for people with long term conditions.

2) Helping people to recover from episodes of ill health following injury.

3) Ensuring people have a positive experience of care.

Here at the NIHP we are working with the skills, experience and insight of our many staff to create a range of services to look after your day to day aches, pains, mood states, ability to be involved in family sports and daily life to the best of your ability.  All we ask in return is a desire to engage and take the opportunity.

NIHP is unique in that all services are under one roof and the practitioners can design and support your own health progression.  Sharing knowledge and practical skills with you at the heart of the process.

"About you, with you".  Even a minor injury can lead to isolation, time off from work and a reliance on friends and family members to support.  An excellent physical, mind state, rehabilitation service service:-

  • prevents that occurring
  • speed up the process of recovery
  • support you during the process
  • educate and re-map common patterns to produce a healthier future and a sense of well-being.

It is so important to us at the NIHP that this unique service will be considered for commissioning and we will be applying for this shortly.

If you have had a positive experience with us please tell your GP!  The more voices  in County Durham who relay this message will help us move forward to having this service funded opening the opportunity to all.

Thank you for using the NIHP.  I look forward to seeing you in the future.

Paula Esson
