The European College of Bowen Studies (ECBS) has been running courses in The Bowen Technique since 1993 and is the most experienced college in Europe. The principal, Julian Baker, is the author of the only book to be published on the technique and is acknowledged as one of the leading experts in the field of Bowen.

The ECBS course leads to the most recognised Bowen qualification in the world. ECBS is the only private training organisation recognised by the Federation of Holistic Therapists, the UK's largest therapist body. In addition ECBS is a schools member of the BCMA and has all its modules accepted by BTER, Europe's largest and only independent Bowen organisation.

The modular format for training in The Bowen Technique, designed by ECBS, has been proven to develop students to the highest standard available and is now the example followed by other schools. This makes the ECBS training course the most comprehensive course of study in The Bowen Technique currently available.
